Job summary

Nobel İlaç Düzce Production and R&D Campus is seeking an experienced OHS professional to support the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety policies and practices. The role focuses on reinforcing a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across the site.

The candidate will contribute to risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting, while collaborating with multiple departments to implement ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems and improve emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in Environment, Occupational Health and Safety.
• Experience in OHS and Environmental auditing.
• Knowledge of explosion protection documents and risk analysis reports.

Responsibilities

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and practices within Nobel İlaç Düzce Production and R&D Campus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting and reinforcing a behavior-based safety culture by ensuring field-level implementation and follow-up of safety practices.
• Assisting in keeping risk assessments up to date and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions on the shop floor.
• Contributing to EHS evaluations related to modifications of existing equipment, new equipment procurement, and process changes, in alignment with the strategy defined by the EHS Manager.
• Preparing relevant documentation and providing operational support for permit and reporting processes required by regulatory authorities; assisting in the follow-up of compliance requirements.
• Ensuring field readiness during internal and external audits and/or self-evaluations, and coordinating corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Supporting the implementation of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) through field inspections and data collection.
• Organizing drills, trainings, and operational activities to ensure the facility is prepared for emergency situations, and coordinating follow-up actions in collaboration with relevant departments.

Which Profile Are We Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• At least 5 years of experience in the fields of Environment, Occupational Health and Safety,
• Experience in OHS and Environmental auditing,
• Knowledge of explosion protection documents and risk analysis reports,
• Holding at Class A Occupational Safety Specialist and Environmental Officer certificates,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
