Job summary

Cecconi's Istanbul at Soho House is seeking a polished Waiter/Waitress to join our service team. You will greet guests, present daily specials, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, accurate service.

Strong English communication, friendly demeanor, and experience with POS systems are essential. You will maintain high grooming standards, upsell thoughtfully, and contribute to a memorable dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under pressure coordinating many requests at any given time
• Flexibility with hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Knowledge of POS device
• Service knowledge
• Spoken and written fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
• Suggest food and beverages to the guests and also try to up-sell
• Take food and beverage orders from the guests on the order taking pads
• Making sure that the order is correct by repeating them to the guests
• Entering the food and beverage in our Micros System
• Mise-en-Place / adhering to the duties check-lists
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/manager
• Filling in for absent staff as needed
• Communicate to the guests and provide assistance with their queries
• Coordinate with different departments (i.e. bar/kitchen etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guests satisfaction
• Promptly respond to the guests with any additional requests
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
• Is aware of allergy procedure
• Is familiar with all tasting-notes from all menu items (food and beverage)
• Help other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Is familiar with the waiter-cashing out procedure
• Making sure that a proper handover has been done before leaving the shift
