Job summary

Digiturk seeks a senior data leader to define and drive enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance across cloud and hybrid platforms. You will mentor analytics teams, align data initiatives with business goals, and enable AI-ready data ecosystems.

You will collaborate with technology and product teams to ensure compliant, scalable data solutions and lead governance and quality programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years in data management or enterprise tech; 5+ years in executive roles.
• Proven expertise in data platform architecture and cloud data services.
• Knowledge of BI, analytics, AI and analytics lifecycle.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, MDM, data lineage.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management.
• Experience building and mentoring data/analytics teams.
• Strategic thinking to define data/AI roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and communicate to execs.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data models and taxonomy.
• Oversee architecture for consistency, scalability, interoperability.
• Align architecture with platform, integration, applications.
• Collaborate across units to maintain domain ownership models.
• Lead data governance frameworks and policies.
• Oversee metadata management and business glossary.
• Define/monitor data quality metrics and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Develop and manage cloud/hybrid data platforms, lakes, warehouses.
• Ensure high availability, performance, cost efficiency of data infrastructure.
• Coordinate across DevOps and analytics teams for data provisioning.
• Embed automation and reusability in pipelines.
• Support analytics and AI initiatives with robust data engineering.
• Optimize platforms for analytics/ML workloads.
• Provide secure access to curated datasets.
• Collaborate with AI leads to accelerate adoption.
• Work with technology, product, compliance, and business teams.
• Lead data-related forums and strategic groups.
