Job summary

AstraZeneca Turkey is seeking a Data Privacy Partner to safeguard personal data and ensure compliance with local laws and our Global Data Privacy Standard. You will act as the local DPO, maintain ROPA, advise leadership, and coordinate responses to incidents across functions.

Ideal candidates hold a law degree with 5+ years in data privacy, strong knowledge of GDPR and Turkey's Law No. 6698, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law with professional data privacy experience.
• Minimum 5 years handling data privacy in corporate or pharma context.
• Deep knowledge of local data protection laws and GDPR.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work across functions and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local Data Privacy Officer for AstraZeneca Turkey.
• Maintain ROPA and guide owners to keep it up to date.
• Lead incident response and data breach remediation activities.
• Advise leadership on data privacy requirements and regulatory changes.
• Implement consent management, privacy notices, and DSR processes.
• Partner with Global Privacy Office on global initiatives.
• Deliver regular privacy training for employees and contractors.
• Raise awareness of privacy risks, especially with sensitive data.
