Job summary

HSB Solutions in Turkey is seeking a proactive Head of IT & Information Security to lead and continuously improve our IT infrastructure, security controls, and ISO 27001 ISMS. You will manage day-to-day IT operations, virtual environments, and information security activities across multiple countries.

The role requires experience in implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001, strong VM and network security skills, and the ability to drive documentation and audits while collaborating with global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional IT infrastructure, systems administration, or information security experience.
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure setup, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VM environments: setup, administration, access management, maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of network and endpoint security, IAM, backup, and data protection.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISMS.
• Strong documentation, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English for cross-country collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, VMs, devices, networks, and user environments.
• Set up and administer employee accounts, access rights, laptops, software, VMs, and IT equipment.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and provisioning/removal of system access.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls including endpoint protection, MFA, access management, backup, and security monitoring.
• Support ISO 27001 ISMS implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Develop IT and information security policies, procedures, asset inventories, risk assessments, access records, and documentation.
• Monitor IT and security risks, vulnerabilities, incidents, corrective actions.
• Support ISO 27001 audits, evidence prep and remediation.
• Manage IT suppliers, licences, hardware inventory, and third-party IT services.
• Provide support to employees across HSB's international operations.
• Promote information security awareness and good IT practices.

Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, systems, virtual machines, devices, networks, and user environments.

Set up and administer employee accounts, access rights, laptops, software, VMs, and IT equipment.

Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, ensuring appropriate provisioning and removal of system access.

Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, MFA, access management, backup, and security monitoring.

Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's ISO 27001-compliant ISMS.

Develop and maintain IT and information security policies, procedures, asset inventories, risk assessments, access records, and related documentation.

Monitor IT and security risks, vulnerabilities, incidents, and corrective actions.

Support internal and external ISO 27001 audits, including evidence preparation and remediation activities.

Manage IT suppliers, software licences, hardware inventory, and third-party IT services.

Provide responsive technical support to employees across HSB's international operations.

Promote information security awareness and good IT practices across the organization.

Previous experience implementing, maintaining, or supporting ISO 27001 certification.

Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Azure Virtual Machines, or similar virtualisation technologies.

Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, MDM, EDR, vulnerability management, and cloud security.

Knowledge of GDPR, information security risk management, and business continuity practices.

Experience working in engineering, aerospace, defence, or another security-sensitive industry.

Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

3-5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or information security.

Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure setup, administration, and troubleshooting.

Experience with Virtual Machine (VM) environments, including setup, administration, access management, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, backup, and data protection.

Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

Strong documentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively support and collaborate with colleagues across different countries and functions.
