Job summary

PHINIA Otomotiv Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi is seeking a Quality professional to support OEMs in the automotive field. The role focuses on handling customer complaints, containment, 8D reports, and ensuring alignment with IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree and have at least 2 years of automotive quality experience, with strong problem-solving and CSR knowledge, plus proficiency in OEM portals and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical/industrial/chemical/automotive.
• Fluent in English.
• At least 2 years of quality experience supporting automotive OEMs.
• Knowledge of CSR and OEM portals.
• Experience with 5-Why, fishbone, 8D problem solving.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 basics.
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Strong teamwork and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing Customer complaints including OEM warranty containment and 8D report preparation.
• Tracking effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Initiating third-party containment activities when required.
• Supporting customer communication during changes/deviations.
• Managing on-time PPAP submissions and coordinating functions.
• Preparing for internal/customer audits.
• Internal auditing based on IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3.
• Supporting APQP and P-FMEA/R-FMEA processes.
• Contributing to achieving quality KPIs.

JOB PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing Customer complaints 0 km/warranty for OEM (Containment, Root Cause Analysis following with 8D report preparation and update of customer/internal portals)
• Tracking the effectiveness of implemented Corrective & Preventive actions
• Initiating/tracking the 3rd party containment activities when required
• Supporting operational functions about Customer Communication of change/deviation request processes
• Managing On-time PPAP submission (well understanding of customer PPAP requirements and coordinating the relevant functions)
• Supporting required preparations for Internal / Customer Audits
• Internal auditing based on IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3 requirements
• Supporting APQP process (pre-series)
• Supporting P-FMEA/R-FMEA process
• Support to achieve quality KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Automotive Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality field to support OEMs in automotive industry
• Have a knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
• Experience with active use of OEM portals
• User experience with problem-solving tools 5-WHY, fishbone, 8D etc.
• Have a good command of automotive quality system requirements (IATF16949, VDA6.3; certification +)
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 basic tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA)
• Preferably knowledge of applicable continuous improvement tools like 6 Sigma, Shainin, Kaizen etc.
• MS Office proficiency
• Dynamic and compatible with teamwork; strong communication, planning and organization skills
