PHINIA Otomotiv Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi in Konak, Turkey seeks an EHS & Sustainability Management Trainee to support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. You will assist in environmental compliance, wastewater operations, sustainability reporting, and ISO management systems.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an EHS & Sustainability Management Trainee to support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will assist in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment operations, sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas management, ISO management systems, and continuous improvement projects while contributing to a culture of safety and environmental excellence. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred Experience in an industrial wastewater treatment plant and knowledge of chemical wastewater treatment operations is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing/production industry Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI, and data reporting tools. Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance management, and reporting practices. Familiarity with energy, water, waste, and carbon management programs. Strong command of written and spoken English. Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems is preferred. Knowledge of ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Management and Verification standard Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
