Job summary

Essity is seeking a Customer Logistics Specialist in Istanbul to coordinate customs, warehousing, transportation, inventory, and reporting across Turkey, South Africa, and UAE. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days from home weekly, with collaboration across markets and limited international travel.

You will manage purchase orders in SAP, coordinate Turkish customs processes, oversee warehousing and transport, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or supply-chain operations with focus on customs, warehousing, transportation, and reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (AP1, S/4 and/or B1) and Excel for analytics.
• Clear English communication and ability to collaborate across markets and functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs, warehousing, transportation, inventory and reporting for multiple markets.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries amid evolving customs and supply-chain conditions.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities and transportation between international centers and local distributors.
• Monitor stock discrepancies, coordinate annual physical counts and support inventory audits.
• Calculate packaging-waste obligations and assist with year-end inventory valuation and costing.
• Maintain accurate records and generate routine inventory and performance reports.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and external service providers.

Practical knowledge of Turkish customs processes would be a strong advantage.* You have strong working knowledge of SAP; experience with SAP AP1, SAP S/4 and/or SAP B1 is beneficial. You are also comfortable using Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.* You are organized, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities, follow through reliably and act with ownership.
