Constantia Flexibles Group based in Istanbul is seeking a senior leader to head accounting operations. You will ensure accuracy of financial records, manage month-end closes, and oversee activities across sales, purchasing, and manufacturing finance with a focus on Turkish compliance and audits.

You will lead a team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with international groups, using SAP FI and advanced Excel skills to support a global manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 8+ years accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting, tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with closing, tax filings, VAT refunds and external audits.
• Hands-on SAP FI experience and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of import/export accounting processes.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English with international stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Lead accounting operations and ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes in line with Turkish requirements and Group deadlines.
• Oversee accounting activities related to sales, purchasing, operating expenses, banking, imports/exports, FX, fixed assets and period-end adjustments.
• Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely reconciliations of customer, supplier, intercompany and GL accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax legislation, declarations and VAT refunds.
• Coordinate external audits, tax audits and certification while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, ensuring workload planning and growth.
• Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement across accounting/finance operations.
• Collaborate with Group Accounting, Division Finance and shared service teams.

• Lead accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records.

• Oversee accounting activities related to sales, purchasing, operating expenses, banking transactions, imports, exports, foreign currency transactions, fixed assets and period-end adjustments.
• Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely reconciliations of customer, supplier, intercompany and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax legislation, statutory requirements and company policies, including tax declarations and VAT refund processes.
• Coordinate external audits, tax audits and certification processes while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, ensuring effective workload planning and professional growth.
• Drive process standardization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and finance operations.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders, including Group Accounting, Division Finance and shared service teams.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting, tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including financial closing, tax filings, VAT refunds and external audits.
• Hands-on SAP FI experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of import and export accounting processes.
• Experience managing, developing and motivating accounting teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMMM certification, multinational manufacturing experience and finance transformation exposure are considered advantages.
