Job summary

Saint-Gobain Türkiye is seeking a Country Financial Controller to lead country-level financial planning, reporting and performance management. You will collaborate with senior management and business finance teams, driving continuous improvement and transformation within Finance.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, monthly closings, variance analysis and strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing and management reporting.
• Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Experience in financial controlling, FP&A or business finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Leading annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning across businesses.
• Coordinating monthly closing and country reporting processes for timely financial information.
• Consolidating and analyzing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, margins and CAPEX.
• Performing Actual vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year analyses.
• Preparing reports and dashboards for the Country CFO and senior stakeholders.
• Developing financial simulations and business cases for strategic decisions.
• Collaborating with FP&A teams to improve profitability and cash generation.
• Driving digital transformation and standardization of Finance processes.

As part of our organization, we are looking for a Country Financial Controller to join our Finance team.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this role is to lead country-level financial planning, reporting and performance management processes, providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The position will work closely with senior management and business finance teams, while driving continuous improvement and transformation within the Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning across businesses.
• Coordinating monthly closing and country reporting processes to ensure accurate, consistent and timely financial information.
• Consolidating and analyzing financial performance, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, sales, margins, costs, working capital and CAPEX.
• Performing Actual versus Budget, Forecast and Prior Year analyses, identifying key business drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Preparing management reports, dashboards and financial presentations for the Country CFO, Country CEO and senior stakeholders.
• Developing financial simulations, business cases and cross-business analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitoring macroeconomic developments and evaluating their potential financial impact on business performance.
• Collaborating with Business Finance Directors, FP&A teams and functional leaders to improve profitability, financial performance and cash generation.
• Driving simplification, standardization, automation and digital transformation of Finance processes and reporting tools.
• Managing, coaching and developing the country controlling team while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Solid experience in financial controlling, FP&A or business finance, preferably in an industrial, multinational or multi-business environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing and management reporting processes.
• Advanced understanding of financial statements, working capital management, profitability analysis and financial modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, business partnering and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within demanding deadlines.
• Experience in managing or coordinating teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, financial planning and consolidation tools.
• Previous involvement in Finance transformation, process automation or standardization projects.
• Experience working with senior management in a multinational organization.
• Strong digital mindset and ability to challenge business assumptions constructively.
