Job summary

MediaMarkt Turkey is seeking an experienced Construction & Technical Operations Lead to oversee store construction, renovations, and fit-out projects across the network, ensuring alignment with company standards and timelines. You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors, manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, review technical specifications, monitor progress, and deliver high-quality handovers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years in construction, project management, or technical operations (retail preferred).
• Proven experience in team and contractor management with cross-functional coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, fit-out works, and regulations.
• Experience in CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; able to read technical plans.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Supports open communication, feedback, change, and innovation.
• No travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Managing construction, renovation, maintenance, and fit-out projects for stores.

• Managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets, planning, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Reviewing construction specifications with landlords, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitoring on-site progress, risks, and timely corrective actions.
• Ensuring quality of works, materials, installations, and handovers.
• Managing maintenance of the store network and conversions of installations.
• Preparing regular status, budget, risk, and performance reports for management.
• Developing smart workplace initiatives and technical improvement projects.

• Managing construction, renovation, maintenance, and fit-out projects for new and existing stores in line with company standards and timelines,
• Leading and coordinating internal technical teams, external contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle,
• Ensuring compliance with MediaMarktSaturn technical requirements, construction standards, local regulations, health and safety rules, and quality expectations,
• Taking responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including planning, cost tracking, optimization, and timely reporting to senior management,
• Reviewing and negotiating construction, fit-out, and technical specifications with landlords, contractors, and relevant stakeholders,
• Monitoring on-site progress, identifying potential risks and technical issues, and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions,
• Ensuring the quality of construction works, building materials, technical installations, and handover processes,
• Managing the maintenance processes of the existing store network and coordinating necessary conversions of technical installations,
• Preparing regular project status, budget, risk, and performance reports for management,
• Developing and implementing smart workplace activities, efficiency initiatives, and technical improvement projects.
