Job summary

WLG in Izmir is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to own the record of running configurations, verify changes, and enforce naming and versioning standards across environments. This role sits alongside change control and service level management, blending process, tooling and investigation.

The candidate will apply tools to track configuration items, approve changes, keep assets properly identified, and audit data to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Three years of practical work across the configuration management disciplines.
Hands-on experience with IT service management tooling, especially BMC Remedy ITSM 9.1 or later.
Good grasp of databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
ITIL Foundation is desirable.

Responsibilities

Apply tools and processes that track, log and correct information about configuration items.
Verify and approve changes, protecting assets from unauthorised change.
Maintain naming and identification rules for objects, environments, documents, versions, baselines and templates.
Audit accuracy of information and rectify audit findings.
Develop, document and implement changes from requests for change; report on them.
Monitor and log the service delivered against SLAs.
Create and maintain an asset register with reports and analysis.
Carry out basic risk management and document risks, threats and mitigations.
Apply data modelling and explain structures to users.
