We are looking for a “Logistics Manager” to be assigned to our “Logistics and Foreign Trade” department.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent, preferably master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics,
- 7+ years of experience in in the fields of sea-air-land-project transportation, foreign trade and customs clearance operations in an international logistics environment,
- Preferably have experience in the Energy, Construction or Heavy Industry sectors,
- 5+ years leadership/management experience required,
- Experience in vendors selection and contract negotiation,
- Expert in all forms of payment and delivery, including L/C transactions,
- Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing logistics cost reduction initiatives,
- Ability to deal with complex subjects across multiple geographies and cultures,
- Good understanding of commercial aspects of the business,
- Fluent in English (writing, speaking and reading),
- Experienced in using SAP MM module, proficient in MS Office programs,
- Shows leadership, strong initiative, work independently and good team player,
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills,
- Relationship building at the local, corporate and international levels,
- Strong planning and organizational skills,
- Proactive and results oriented approach,
- Analytical thinking, well-developed presentation, reporting and operational metrics management skills,
- No obstacles for international travelling,
- Completed military service for male applicants.

- Responsible for global logistics operations management of operational countries worldwide,
- Ensures the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way,
- Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, distribution and transportation services,
- Manages the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation and customs operations within the organization to ensure that logistics service is performed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications,
- Coordinates closely with technical departments and Plants to obtain information, identify needs, and investigate and resolve problems,
- Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order to achieve operational excellence,
- Identifies new ideas for the overall logistics value chain; optimizing existing processes and developing cross border solutions that add value to the Company,
- Identifies risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution,
- Follow-up and compliance with local and international laws, regulations, customs and duties,
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external partners,
- Monitors and reports the key performance indicators of the department and takes necessary actions according to the results.
- Responsible for improving the current systems to assure the resilience and agility of logistics operation according to ne global facts and needs.
- Responsible for the contract management with the logistics service suppliers.
- Responsible to keep the existing procedures up to dated.
- Ensures compliance with all company strategies, policies, procedures, and processes in order to achieve operational accountability and clarity.
