Job summary

GlassHouse Türkiye is seeking a Cloud System Support Specialist to join the Cloud System Support Team Lead. The role focuses on managing customer environments, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms, to ensure performance and reliability.

You will work with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitor infrastructure, and coordinate with vendors for timely support and upgrades. This position demands strong problem solving and analytical thinking in a dynamic IT services

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technologies sector.
• Experience on Installation, Configuration, Monitoring, Management and Problem Solving in server virtualization technologies (VMware, servers and storage systems).
• Experience on Server Operating Systems Management and Configuration (Windows, Linux).
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (Server, Storage, Basic network etc.)

Responsibilities

• Managing the environments of customers within GlassHouse such as Server, Storage and Virtualization Environment (VMware, KVM) is highly desirable
• Managing the environments of financial customers within GlassHouse such as Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) and Microsoft Family Systems
• Making performance analyzes and ensuring their improvement
• Managing change requests
• Managing Hardware and Software license inventory
• Providing fault tracking and coordination with third party service providers in infrastructure systems
• Managing patch management and upgrade processes at customers
• Following the technological developments closely and providing guidance within the team on the provision of know-how
• Managing vendor support by taking quick actions in case of a problem
