Etik Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. seeks a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team. The role focuses on capital structure, project finance, and strategic financial decision-making to drive growth across organic plant agriculture, cosmetics, and ready-meals manufacturing.

The CFO will lead a ~10-person finance unit, manage relationships with DFIs and lenders, and ensure governance and compliance across diverse group entities in Istanbul and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines from top-tier universities.
• MBA degree is an asset and preferred for leadership roles.
• CPA (SMMM) licenses are advantageous if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Direct line of reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors. Lead a multi-disciplinary finance team of ~10 professionals.
• Structure and secure project financing for major capital investments with DFIs and banks.
• Oversee treasury operations and optimize cash flow across group entities.
• Prepare investment decks, financial models, and official statements for lenders and funds.
• Advise the board on make-vs-buy, lease-vs-purchase, and internal vs contract-sourcing models.
• Ensure regulatory, tax, and accounting compliance across the group.

Our client is a dynamic and expanding conglomerate operating across high-growth sectors, including organic medicinal and aromatic plant agriculture, cosmetics, and ready-meals manufacturing. To support its ongoing expansion and major capital investment projects, we are seeking a highly caliber, resilient, and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Leadership & Reporting: Direct line of reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors. Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary financial unit of approximately 10 professionals across Finance, Accounting, Budgeting & Reporting, and Treasury.
• Project Financing & Capital Sourcing: Structure and secure optimal project financing and credit structures for major capital investments (e.g., new plant facility construction). Identify and secure capital through international development financial institutions (DFIs) such as EBRD, IFC, and World Bank, alongside local rural development funds.
• Cash Flow & Capital Management: Oversee treasury operations to deliver rigorous, sustainable cash flow optimization across all group entities.
• Investor Relations & Investment Proposals: Prepare comprehensive investment decks, financial models, and official financial statements tailored for investment bankers, institutional lenders, and international development funds.
• Strategic Financial Decision-Making: Conduct detailed financial analysis to advise the executive board on critical operational and capital decisions, including make-vs-buy, lease-vs-purchase, and internal manufacturing vs. contract-sourcing models.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure full regulatory and legal compliance across all group financial, tax, and accounting operations.

Desired Profile & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines from top-tier universities. An MBA degree is an asset.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years of professional corporate finance experience. Candidates with foundational experience in investment banking (credit/project finance) followed by executive financial leadership roles (Project Finance Manager / Director / CFO) are highly preferred.
• Project Finance Expertise: Proven track record in structuring complex project financing and securing debt/credit facilities from multilateral institutions (EBRD, World Bank, IFC, etc.).
• Certifications: CPA (SMMM) and Capital Markets Board (SPK) licenses are a strong advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced / Fluent written and spoken English is strictly required for negotiations and reporting with international lenders.
• Key Skills: Excellent communication, executive presentation, and strategic decision-making skills. Resilience in fast-paced operational environments.
• Location & Mobility: Residing on or easily accessible to the Anatolian Side of Istanbul (able to commute daily to HQ in Çamlıca). Valid driver’s license required.
