Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading mining company, seeks a Chief Executive Officer to join their team in Istanbul and strategically grow its international mining division.

The Group operates across Asia, Europe, and the Americas with Chrome, Gold, Copper, Nickel and polymetallic assets, aiming to expand through M&A, partnerships, and portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

Job description

Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading mining company, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer CEO to join their team in Istanbul and strategically grow it's international mining division.

The Group has an established presence across Asia, Europe, South America and the United States, with operations and investments focused predominantly on Chrome, Gold, Copper, Nickel and polymetallic assets.

The Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group's global mining growth strategy in partnership with the Board and senior leadership.
• Provide overall strategic, commercial and operational leadership across the international mining portfolio.
• Identify and evaluate new mining assets, projects, partnerships and investment opportunities globally.
• Lead mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other corporate transactions, from initial evaluation through negotiation, due diligence, transaction execution and integration.
• Drive the expansion and optimization of the existing portfolio across Chrome, Gold, Copper, Nickel and polymetallic assets.
• Work closely with finance and investment teams on financial modelling, valuation, project economics, funding structures and M&A analysis.

The Requirements

• Significant senior leadership experience within the mining and natural resources sector, ideally at CEO, COO, Regional CEO or equivalent level.
• Proven experience managing international mining operations and multi-country portfolios.
• Strong understanding of the mining lifecycle, including exploration, development, production, processing and commercialisation.
• Demonstrable M&A and corporate development experience, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand and challenge financial models, valuations, project economics, capital structures and investment cases.
• Experience working directly with Boards, shareholders, investors and senior financial stakeholders.
• A successful track record of identifying and executing opportunities that deliver growth and shareholder value.
• Fluent English is essential; additional languages would be advantageous.
