Job summary

DeFacto, a global fashion brand with 90+ countries and 500+ stores, is seeking a finance professional to lead budgeting, financial controlling, and management reporting. You will deliver timely budget vs. actual analyses and support strategic decision-making across departments.

In this role you will develop reports using Power BI, drive process improvements, and advance digitalization of controlling. Fluent English and advanced Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in business or related fields.
• At least 3 years of budgeting, financial controlling, and reporting experience.
• Basic accounting knowledge; IFRS reporting is a plus.
• Experience with planning systems (BPC, EPM) and/or Power BI.
• Strong English communication and advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates budgeting and actuals controlling.
• Prepares budget and monthly management reports for management.
• Performs financial and operational analyses including variance and bridge analyses.
• Prepares ad-hoc analyses and presentations.
• Interacts with departments to analyze variances and support decisions.
• Supports monthly reporting and ensures data accuracy.
• Contributes to implementing financial controlling systems and digitalization.
• Act as strategic business partner in decision support processes.

What Do We Expect from You?

Qualifications:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in budgeting, financial & business controlling and reporting functions
• Basic accounting knowledge is required/ IFRS reporting experience is an asset
• Having experience in one of planning systems (BPC, EPM) and/or Power BI is a big asset
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• MS Office (advanced excel) knowledge; SAP knowledge is an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong cross functional relationships
• Adherence to a specific process and facilitate requests to meet specific deadlines through effective time management
• Ability to bring creativity to the position while striving for continuous improvement

Basic Functions:

• Operational responsibility for the controlling of budgeted and actual figures
• Preparing budget, monthly management and performance reports in a timely accurate and effective manner and communicated clearly to Management Team
• Performing financial and operational analysis in budgets and actuals by preparing sensitivity, variance and bridge analysis
• Preparing analyzes and presentations for Ad-hoc requests
• Communicating with all departments in analyzing budget/actual variances and supporting them on financial issues and decisions
• Supporting monthly reporting activities and checking accuracy of financial data
• Taking active role in implementation and development of financial controlling systems
• Taking active role in digitalization of controlling and reporting processes
• Being a strategic business partner and taking an active role in the decision support processes
