Job summary

n11.com seeks an Automotive Category Supervisor to own growth and performance of the automotive category, building strong supplier and seller relationships and driving category strategies with data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with Commercial Planning and Marketing to execute campaigns, analyze performance, and translate market trends into actionable initiatives across assortment, pricing, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; preference for Marketing/Economics/Engineering
• 4+ years in category management, commercial management, e-commerce; automotive preferred
• Proven experience managing supplier, seller, distributor, and/or brand relationships
• Strong analytical thinking; ability to translate data into actionable business decisions
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of automotive category performance and develop action plans to achieve targets
• Monitor category KPIs, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement improvement initiatives
• Manage relationships with sellers, distributors, and brands, on‑board new partners
• Lead discussions with key sellers and suppliers to improve performance, assortment, pricing, and sales
• Provide strategic recommendations to sellers for business growth on the platform
• Collaborate with Commercial Planning and Marketing to develop category campaigns and promotions
• Analyze performance data and prepare business reports and recommendations
• Translate market insights into actionable category strategies
• Own product portfolio management, assortment and inventory performance
• Contribute to category strategy and annual business plans
• Prepare regular category performance updates for stakeholders

Job description

We are looking for an Automotive Category Supervisor who will take ownership of the growth and performance of our automotive category, develop strong supplier and seller relationships, and drive category strategies through data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of automotive category performance and develop action plans to achieve company and category targets
• Monitor category KPIs, identify growth opportunities and risks, and proactively implement improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop relationships with sellers, distributors, and brands, while identifying and onboarding new business partners
• Lead discussions with key sellers and suppliers to improve commercial performance, assortment, pricing, and sales results
• Support sellers with platform-related needs and provide strategic recommendations to improve their business performance
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial Planning and Marketing teams to develop and execute category-specific campaigns and promotional activities
• Analyze seller, campaign, promotion, and category performance; conduct feasibility studies and prepare business reports and recommendations
• Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs; translate insights into actionable category strategies
• Evaluate customer feedback and market data to identify opportunities for improving product and service quality
• Own product portfolio management and monitor assortment, availability, and inventory performance
• Identify opportunities to improve category profitability, sales growth, assortment, and customer experience
• Contribute to the development and execution of the category strategy and annual business plans
• Prepare regular category performance updates and present key insights and action plans to relevant stakeholders

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in category management, commercial management, e-commerce, or a related field; experience in automotive is preferred
• Strong experience in managing supplier, seller, distributor, and/or brand relationships
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable business decisions
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of category management dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive projects and initiatives
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
