Job summary

LC Waikiki is seeking an Application Development Engineer to join its Digital Transformation and IT team in Istanbul. You will develop, maintain and optimize enterprise-grade apps using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and .NET Framework, and design RESTful APIs within microservice architectures.

You'll leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot and explore Generative AI, LLM integrations, and AI Agents to improve productivity and software quality, collaborating with product owners and other teams in

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based architectures.
• Participate in software architecture, technical design, and code review activities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, development speed, and software design decisions.
• Collaborate with product owners and other development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze technical requirements and transform them into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing applications and integrations.
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, particularly in the fields of AI and software engineering.

We are looking for Application Development Engineer

General Qualifications

• Graduated from Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics Engineering or related departments of universities,
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience,
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework and ASP.NET technologies,
• Experience in designing and developing scalable and high-performance applications,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Passionate about learning new technologies and adapting to changing software development practices,
• Good communication and teamwork skills,
• Familiar with modern software development methodologies and agile practices,
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar platforms,
• Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, LLM-powered applications, AI Agents, and Prompt Engineering.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework,
• Strong knowledge of REST API development,
• Experience with SQL Server and database design principles,
• Experience with distributed system architectures and technologies such as Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, including caching, messaging, and high-volume data processing scenarios.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM integrations, AI Agents
• Experience with microservice architecture,
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes,
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent development tools,
• Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture,
• Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies,
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is a plus,
• Experience with Power Platform solutions is a plus,
