Job summary

LC Waikiki seeks data professionals to join its AI-powered PDP team. You will design and build the Product Data Platform, develop AI APIs, and turn product data into actionable insights. You will implement data quality controls, and enable self-service LLM experiments for business units.

You will work in a collaborative environment to advance AI-assisted development, ensure governance, and deliver scalable data solutions across local and global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with modern data stacks experience.
• Frontend development with React and data-facing UI experience.
• ELT/data transformation, data quality, testing, and observability.
• End-to-end, product-minded software development approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and build components of the Product Data Platform (PDP).

Who Are We Looking For?

Within our Master Data Management organization, we are building an AI-powered Product Data Platform (PDP) where product

• Design and build components of the Product Data Platform (PDP) — the home for product data and AI.
• Develop the Product AI API — LLM / embedding–based services that generate and enrich product attributes (people validate the output).
• Build Product Intelligence (Pi) — turn product data into insight and self-service analytics.
• Design trusted analytical data models using modern ELT principles, and curated datasets that enable self-service.
• Build automated data-quality controls, tests, and alerts — catching errors at the source, across master & costing data.
• Perform root-cause analysis (detect → diagnose → fix) for data anomalies and proactively surface improvements.
• Enable business units to run self-service LLM experiments; promote proven ideas to production.
• Apply modern AI-assisted development (Cursor, agentic workflows) to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Drive engineering best practices — documentation, lineage, and data governance.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field,
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong Python skills, with hands-on experience in modern data stacks,
• SQL (advanced) and data modeling (Kimball / dimensional),
• Frontend development with React — building data-facing user interfaces,
• ELT / Data transformation,
• Data quality, testing, and observability,
• End-to-end, product-minded software approach (building working products, not just reports),
• Analytical thinking and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders,

Preferred Qualifications

• BigQuery, SQL Server, or similar cloud analytics platforms,
• dbt, Dataform, or similar transformation frameworks,
• LLM APIs (Claude / GPT / Gemini), embeddings / vector search, and RAG-based applications,
• Azure AI Foundry or Vertex AI,
• Airflow / Composer or workflow orchestration,
• Agentic AI workflows and AI-assisted software development,
