Job summary

Octopus Plus is building automation-first back-office workflows that reduce manual work by turning reservation changes, supplier confirmations, and operational checks into self-running processes. You’ll design end-to-end agentic flows, integrate LLM-driven steps, and implement robust guardrails for safe production use.

You’ll own the framing, implementation, and production metrics, collaborating with product managers and engineers to remove high-leverage manual tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production backend systems
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, function calling and agent frameworks
• Thinks in workflows and failure modes, not demos
• Comfortable owning a problem from framing to production metrics
• Working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Design and ship agentic workflows that automate reservation, operation and supplier follow-up flows end to end
• Integrate LLM-driven steps into existing module pipelines
• Build the guardrails, evals and fallbacks that let automations fail safely in production
• Work with operations-side product managers to find high-leverage manual work to remove
• Instrument everything: measure hours saved and error rates, not demo quality
