Job summary

Commencis is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade LLM applications and AI-powered systems that solve enterprise problems.

You will own the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous optimization, collaborating with product, software, and business teams to create AI-first solutions with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI/LLM systems.
• Solid understanding of transformer architectures and generative AI.
• Experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle, model monitoring, and evaluation pipelines.
• Ability to make scalable, reliable, secure technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of production-grade LLM applications and AI-powered systems.
• Architect scalable AI components: data pipelines, model integration, orchestration, evaluation, deployment.
• Collaborate with product, software, and business teams to translate needs into AI solutions.
• Design LLM workflows using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
• Drive PoC initiatives and turn ideas into scalable production solutions.
• Adapt and optimize ML models; implement robust MLOps practices with containers and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers on AI engineering best practices and production readiness.
• Evaluate AI applications for quality, latency, cost, safety, and business impact.
