Job summary

Motlow State Community College seeks an adjunct faculty member in Early Childhood Education for pool teaching across assigned courses, including dual enrollment at area high schools, and may travel to multiple campuses.

The position pays $500-$700 per credit hour and requires a Master’s degree in the discipline or a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date. Prefer doctoral credentials and CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in discipline or qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in any field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in discipline earned from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and approved course syllabus.
• Teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic needs.
• Stay current with developments in the teaching discipline and incorporate updates into instruction.
• Support curricular and co-curricular activities within the college.
