Job summary

Motlow State Community College seeks adjunct Health/Physical Education faculty to teach courses across campuses. Responsibilities include delivering instruction per catalog and syllabi, supporting students, and collaborating with campus leadership.

Qualifications require a Master’s degree in the discipline or 18 graduate hours; a Doctoral degree with 3 years CC teaching is preferred. Position is contingent on funding and available hours per semester.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in discipline or 18 graduate hours in discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Qualifying fields include Health, Nutrition, Physical Education, Sports Administration, Sports Medicine, Wellness.
• Doctoral degree with three years of CC teaching and ability to teach additional Motlow field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned and travel to multiple campuses.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Support students and college operations per strategic plan and team efforts.
• Stay current with developments in teaching and incorporate updates into instruction.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester.
• Communicate with students and meet as needed; respond to requests promptly.
• Submit paperwork timely; follow TBR and MSCC policies.
