Job summary

Motlow State Community College invites applications for Adjunct Engineering Faculty (Pool). This pool position provides high-quality instruction aligned with catalog descriptions and approved syllabi, and may involve teaching at multiple campuses, including dual enrollment at area high schools.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering or 18 graduate hours by the application date; preferred: doctoral degree and CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or 18 graduate hours in the field by the application date.
• Qualifying fields include Engineering or Physics.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses per catalog and syllabus; travel to multiple campuses.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular issues.
• Support students and align with the college's goals.
• Stay current with developments in the teaching discipline.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester.
• Submit paperwork timely and follow MSCC policies.
