Job summary

Motlow State Community College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Accounting Faculty (Pool) position. Courses may be taught at any campus, with travel to multiple sites as needed. This pool position supports training in accounting disciplines and related activities.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in accounting or a qualifying field by the application date. Preferred candidates have a doctoral degree and CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in discipline or 18 graduate hours in discipline by the application date.
• Experience teaching accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and syllabus.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular issues and needs.
• Support students and university operations within the college.
• Stay current with developments in accounting and teaching methods.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester as assigned.
• Respond promptly to requests from the Dean and submit paperwork timely.
• Perform all duties per MSCC policies and other duties as assigned.
