Job summary

ICBC Turkey, the Turkish subsidiary of ICBC Group, is seeking a junior teammate for the Financial Management and Accounting Unit of the Financial Control and Accounting Department.

The role focuses on daily reconciliations and basic bookkeeping, with expectation of a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and strong numerical skills. English proficiency and long-term commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance preferred.
• Willing to work long term at ICBC Turkey.
• Strong numerical sense and ability to troubleshoot accounting discrepancies.
• Detail-oriented, accurate in routine reconciliation.
• Open-minded to new working requirements and management.
• Excellent command of English (written and oral).
• Proficiency in office software.

Responsibilities

• Account Reconciliation: daily reconciliation of Nostro accounts and interbank/clearing accounts; investigate unmatched items.
• General Accounting: process vouchers, audit expenses, archive documents, and perform bookkeeping tasks.
• Operational Support: assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and data compilation.

ICBC Turkey Bank is searching for a junior teammate to be recruited in the Financial Management and Accounting Unit of the Financial Control and Accounting Department

To fit this position, you need to have the below qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree, major in Accounting, Economics, Finance is preferred,
• Willing to work at ICBC Turkey for a long term,
• Quick on your feet with strong numerical sense and sound logic to efficiently troubleshoot accounting discrepancies,
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of maintaining high accuracy in routine reconciliation work,
• Open-minded to embrace the new working requirements and management.
• Having excellent command of English language, both written and oral,
• Proficiency in office softwares.

You will have below responsibilities for this position:

• Account Reconciliation: Responsible for daily reconciliation of Nostro accounts and other interbank/clearing accounts. Track, investigate, and help resolve unmatched items and discrepancies.
• General Accounting: Handle routine voucher processing, expense claim auditing, document archiving, and other foundational bookkeeping tasks.
• Operational Support: Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and routine data compiling within the department.
