Job summary

OBSS is Turkey’s largest technology consultancy with over 20 years of experience and offices in Istanbul, Ankara and London. We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team and help deliver high quality, compliant financials and end-to-end accounting processes.

You will manage general accounting operations, monthly closings, reporting to management, audits, and budgeting support while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Experience in financial reporting and financial statement analysis.
• Previous experience in independent audit firms or multinational companies is preferred.
• Experience with Logo Tiger is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functionalities.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, eager to learn, with strong communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Prepare, analyze, and report financial statements to management.
• Ensure compliance and execution of tax declarations, e-ledger, e-invoice, and e-archive processes in accordance with local regulations.
• Support independent audit processes and prepare required documentation.
• Contribute to budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting-related processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
