Job summary

Fraport TAV Antalya Airport is seeking an experienced Accounting and Taxation Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations in line with IFRS and statutory requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 10–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Advanced IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
• Strong ERP and Excel proficiency; CPA/ACCA/CMA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end accounting function and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in line with reporting timelines.
• Ensure preparation and review of IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve reconciliation and reporting standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors as primary contact.
• Monitor accounting standards and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Drive digitalization and optimization of accounting processes and reporting tools.
• Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing accounting team.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled “Accounting and Taxation Manager” to join our Finance team and oversee the company’s accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting effective financial control. You will lead the accounting team, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end accounting function and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with established reporting timelines.
• Ensure the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports in compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Drive financial reporting excellence by establishing robust controls, reconciliation processes, and reporting standards.
• Manage and continuously improve internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor developments in accounting standards and legislation, assessing business impacts and implementing necessary changes.
• Partner with senior management by providing financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Lead financial analysis activities to identify risks, opportunities, cost efficiencies, and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, financial institutions, auditors, and advisors.
• Champion the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools.
• Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Ensure effective workload planning, resource allocation, and performance management across the accounting function.
• Support cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives requiring accounting and financial expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Proven experience managing complex accounting operations and financial closing processes.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal control environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Experience leading and developing teams within a dynamic business environment.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are considered a strong advantage.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
