Aon plc is seeking a recent graduate to join the Finance – Technical Accounting team in the Istanbul area. You will gain hands‑on experience in financial processes within the insurance industry and work closely with experienced colleagues to advance technical accounting and insurance finance skills.

The role emphasizes monitoring financial transactions, timely recording, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, insurance, or related field.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of internship/professional experience.
• Strong interest in insurance and finance with a will to learn and develop.
• Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring of financial transactions, accounts, and reconciliation with clients and insurers.
• Contribute to accurate, timely recording and monitoring of daily financial transactions in relevant systems.
• Support the team’s operational and financial processes within the insurance finance scope.
• Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to help execute processes effectively.
• Develop knowledge and expertise in technical accounting and insurance finance over time.

About the Role

As part of our Finance – Technical Accounting team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in financial processes within the insurance industry and build your expertise in this area. By taking an active role in day-to-day operations and working alongside experienced colleagues, you will continue to develop your knowledge and skills in technical accounting and insurance finance.

In this role, you will:

• Support the monitoring of financial transactions, accounts, and reconciliation processes with our clients and insurance companies.
• Contribute to ensuring that daily financial transactions are accurately and timely recorded and monitored in the relevant systems.
• Support the team’s operational and financial processes.
• Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to support the effective execution of processes.
• Develop your knowledge and expertise in technical accounting and insurance finance over time.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

• University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of internship and/or professional experience.
• Strong interest in insurance and finance, with a desire to build a career in this field and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Excellent command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with an interest in digital tools and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
