Job summary

ING Türkiye is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights, working with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and operational excellence in a dynamic, international environment.

You will design dashboards, monitor performance, and translate data into recommendations while leveraging SQL, BI tools, and programming languages to support strategic initiatives in a hybrid working setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
Master's degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, Reporting, or related roles
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and performance monitoring reports
Knowledge of Python, SAS, or similar analytical programming languages is a plus
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and large-scale data environments
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to define analytical requirements and deliver business solutions
Deep understanding of operational procedures, package-query structures, and underlying data flows, with proven experience in designing datamarts and optimizing reporting architectures
Strong presentation and storytelling skills to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers through data analysis
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, result-oriented, and collaborative mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Banking, financial services, or customer analytics experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
Develop, maintain, and enhance management dashboards, reports, and analytical models
Transform data into actionable recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making
Collaborate with business units, operations, technology, and other stakeholders to understand analytical needs and deliver data-driven solutions
Monitor key performance indicators and provide proactive insights into business performance
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep-dive investigations to support business priorities and emerging needs
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting and analytics processes
Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management through clear storytelling
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and opportunities through data analysis
Contribute to the development of advanced analytics capabilities and best practices
Participate in strategic transformation initiatives by providing data-driven insights and performance measurement frameworks
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and fact-based decision-making
