Job summary

Çalık Enerji is seeking an Accountant Chief for the Turkmenistan Head Office to lead consolidation, IFRS reporting, and cross-department coordination. You will ensure accurate financial records, support project managers, and coordinate audits across group entities.

The role requires 6+ years in accounting, CPA/SMMM certification, and strong English/Russian language skills within an international energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Holder of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Certified Public Accountant License (SMMM).
• Good command of both English and Russian.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the Uniform Chart of Accounts, trial balance studies, general accounting records, and financial reporting.
• Strong follow-up, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Energetic, team-oriented, and possessing strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed consolidation schedules and financial reports for all group companies in line with management reporting and independent audit requirements.
• Review and verify data required for IFRS reporting and submissions to third parties.
• Organize work allocation and backup arrangements within the department and coordinate job rotation when necessary.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between the Finance Department and other departments and subsidiaries; proactively address and resolve potential issues.
• Monitor and ensure that all financial documents are recorded in compliance with applicable legislation and company procedures.
• Ensure the recording of project-related invoices and expense forms.
• Provide financial, accounting, and regulatory support to Project Managers for all relevant matters and transactions.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and coordinate audit-related activities.
• Perform trial balance reviews and reconciliations.
• Support subsidiaries and affiliates in resolving financial and accounting-related matters.
