Job summary
A marine services company located in Singapore is seeking a candidate for marine engineering roles. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing technical reports, and providing technical support both on-site and remotely. Ideal candidates should have prior marine engineering experience, hold a Higher Nitec in relevant fields, and possess a valid driving license. Willingness to work outside regular hours is required.

- Prior experience in marine engineering or marine technical support roles is highly preferred.
- Possessing the physical stamina to board vessels frequently.
- A valid driving license is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of marine equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical service reports, including maintenance records.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Travel at short notice for vessel attendance.
- Collaborate with the operations and technical team.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Skills
Education
Modern Automation and Engineering – North Singapore
- Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of marine equipment and control systems onboard vessels at anchorage, port, shipyard, or company workshops.
- Prepare detailed technical service reports, including maintenance records, fault findings, and recommendations for spare parts and future servicing.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Travel at short notice to attend vessels within the region, and occasionally internationally.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and technical team to ensure smooth execution of service jobs.
- Ensure full compliance with company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by supervisors, as required.
- Prior experiences in marine engineering or marine technical support roles is highly preferred.
- Min. Higher Nitec in relevant engineering fields.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Possessing the physical stamina to board vessels frequently.
- Having an analytical and open mind, and being self‑driven.
- Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge.
- A valid driving license.
- English literacy is a MUST.
- Willing to work after office hours, weekends and holidays.
