Job summary

A leading technical services provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician with expertise in AC & DC motors and battery systems. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and servicing industrial equipment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are essential. This role will involve reading electrical diagrams and performing maintenance tasks independently while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant working experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing and servicing industrial equipment or heavy vehicles.
  • Reading and understanding electrical diagrams.
  • Conducting calibration tasks as part of maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of AC & DC motors, single-phase & three-phase, lead acid & lithium batteries, electrical control circuits and hydraulic system
  • Able to read and understand electrical diagram
  • Experience in repairing, servicing, troubleshooting of industrial equipment or heavy vehicle
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor/ management
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Professional Certificate/NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in hands‑on preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as calibration tasks
  • Basic report writing skills for post‑servicing documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Keen on continuous improvement
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Preferably with valid class 3 driving licence (optional)
