Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quality Control Executive to oversee quality inspections in the food manufacturing sector. Your role will involve conducting thorough checks on raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and collaborating with different departments. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in the food industry. This position offers a competitive salary and a work schedule from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in food industry/manufacturing.
- Ability to conduct quality and sensory assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough checks on raw materials and finished products for quality.
- Report any quality issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule inspections.
Skills
Education

- $2,700 - $3,000
- 5 days Mon to Fri
- Working time: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Factory equipment cleanliness inspection before production.
- Conduct thorough checks on raw materials and finished products for quality, including microbial, sensory, and visual assessments.
- Promptly report any quality issues to supervisors for investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule material inspections and sampling.
- Verify certificates to ensure raw materials meet standards before use.
- Provide training for new staff members.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Perform equipment calibration as required.
- Manage inventory and uphold lab cleanliness.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis for materials and products.
- Support with additional tasks assigned by the company.
- Oversees the overall quality control function
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma inFood Science and Technology, Food, Nutrition & Culinarysciencerelated.
- At least 1year experience in food industry / manufacturing
