Job summary
A healthcare recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Scrub Nurse to maintain a sterile environment and assist surgeons during procedures. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with experience in an operating theatre and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential. This role is critical for ensuring patient safety and effective surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in an operating theatre or as a Scrub Nurse preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating theatre.
- Support surgeons by providing necessary instruments.
- Ensure patient care is monitored during surgical procedures.
Skills
Education
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating theatre, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Support surgeons during procedures by handling and providing instruments and supplies.
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use.
- Monitor and assist with patient care throughout the surgical process.
- Comply with strict infection control and safety guidelines.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment utilized.
- Registered Nurse with a valid license from the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse or in an operating theatre setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
