CNC Machinist
Job Responsibilities:
Set up jigs, fixtures and tooling required for machining
Operate CNC Grinding, VTL, Milling, Turning machine
Perform in-process inspection of aerospace machined parts and document results
Initiate and suggest continuous improvement ideas to improve process, productivity and quality on machines
Perform TPMs
Conduct in-process inspections using micrometres and gauges.
Follow technical manuals and work instructions for accurate machining.
Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
Comply with company and safety rules and regulations
Complete production paper work and systems transactions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
At least 3 years of machining experience in CNC machining experience in Precision / Metal / Aerospace industry
Experience in Campbell 2000 & Okuma Grinder will be advantageous
Able to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Able to perform rotating shifts (7.30am to 4.50pm or 7.30pm to 4.50am)
