A leading chemical/manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for an Accounts & Costing Executive to support accounting operations and financial reporting. The role includes preparing financial statements, analyzing costing data, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. A degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are required. The position offers a supportive working environment with benefits including a 13th month bonus and company transport.

Accounts & Costing Executive
- Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Company Transport Provided)
- Salary: S$3,000 – S$4,500/month
- Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
Support accounting and costing operations in a leading chemical/manufacturing company. Gain hands‑on exposure to full set of accounts, financial reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders in a structured and supportive environment.
- Perform month‑end and year‑end closing, including accounting entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and management/costing reports
- Analyze accounting and costing data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide actionable recommendations
- Maintain accurate cost accounting records, monitor variances, and conduct inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG)
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including departmental budget compilation, fixed/lease asset depreciation, and material usage planning
- Prepare quarterly GST returns and support corporate tax computation
- Support audits (statutory, internal, J‑SOX), including preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ACRA XBRL filings
- Maintain documentation for financial, accounting, and costing processes
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and costing experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and corporate tax
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Contractual 13th month AWS and performance‑based bonus
- Supportive working environment on Jurong Island
- Company transport provided from designated MRT pick‑up points
