Dynamic Safety Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Student Support Officer to assist at-risk youths within schools and community settings.

You will mentor students, provide counselling, monitor behaviour, and collaborate with teachers and counsellors to promote safety and well-being.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work or related field.
• 3 years of experience with youths aged 12-18.
• Good emotional intelligence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Manage at-risk students with attendance, behavioural and personal challenges.
• Conduct regular one-to-one mentoring and counselling sessions.
• Provide immediate support during behavioural issues, distress and conflicts.
• Facilitate reflective discussions and student reintegration.
• Supervise students during in-school suspension, detention and reflection sessions.
• Conduct school patrols to monitor behaviour and safety.
• Assist with disciplinary investigations and incident documentation.
• Monitor student behaviour and follow up on disciplinary cases.
• Plan activities on anger management and emotional regulation.
• Organize after-school engagement programmes and life-skills workshops.
• Collaborate with teachers and Student Management teams to support students.
• Maintain student records and prepare progress reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or related Social Science field.
• Preferably certified in stress/anger management, suicide prevention or grief counselling.
• At least 3 years of experience working with youths aged 12-18 in schools, residential homes or community centres.
• Good emotional intelligence and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with youths.
• Patient, compassionate, resilient and a good team player.
• Open to new ideas and able to maintain professional boundaries.
• Good computer skills in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
