Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with youths aged 12-18 in schools, residential homes, or community centres.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage youths.
• Patient and empathetic approach with professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and behavioural support to students aged 12-18 to promote stability and growth.
• Build trusting relationships to mentor and guide students.
• Facilitate engagement programmes and group activities to support inclusion.
• Apply de-escalation strategies during challenging situations.
• Monitor progress and report concerns to school personnel for timely intervention.
