Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a qualified Social Worker to create a safe, welcoming environment for students and to connect regularly with identified students to support holistic development.

You will provide socio-emotional support during curriculum hours for students who struggle to rejoin class, plan after-school intervention programmes, observe needs, report to the Student Development Team and School Leaders, and help review programmes termly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or related disciplines.
• Registered Social Worker or Registered Social Work Practitioner with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW).
• At least 2 years' relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for students
• Connect regularly with identified students to build positive relationships and support holistic development
• Provide socio-emotional support during curriculum hours for students unable to integrate back to class
• Plan and conduct after-school intervention programmes (academic, mentoring, engagement)
• Observe and identify key student needs; report cases to the Student Development Team and School Leaders
• Provide feedback on students' needs, programme experience, and concerns
• Review engagement programmes at the end of each term and recommend improvements
• Perform other assigned duties
