Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated youth worker to engage, mentor and support students with emotional, social or well-being needs within the Student Engagement Centre in Singapore. The role requires at least 1 year of experience working with youths, plus strong communication and empathy to build rapport with diverse learners.

It is a 9-month contract (Jan 2027–Oct 2027), Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm (30 min lunch), with occasional until 5:30pm for after‑school activities,

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with youths in school, social service or community settings.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with students.
  • Empathetic, resilient and able to work with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage, mentor and support students with emotional, social or well-being needs.
  • Monitor and track progress of identified students.
  • Plan and supervise activities at the Student Engagement Centre.
  • Support after-school engagement programmes.
  • Liaise with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and participation.
  • Work with community partners to connect students with suitable programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress and incidents.
  • Follow safeguarding, emergency and confidentiality protocols.
  • Perform other student-related duties as assigned.
