Job summary

Macbuild Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety and Health professional to oversee WSHE compliance on construction sites in Singapore. You will implement risk assessments, conduct site inspections, and enforce safety regulations to prevent incidents.

This role requires staying current with WSHE laws and delivering in-house safety training. The successful candidate will have an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, at least 2 years in construction, and education at N Level.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Good working knowledge of WSHE regulations and practices.
• Experience with residential projects preferred.
• Minimum educational qualification: ’N’ Level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all project work practices comply with legal requirements and third-party audit standards.
• Oversee the effective implementation of risk assessments and environmental impact assessments.
• Take proactive measures to rectify unsafe conditions and enforce safety compliance on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to relevant Acts, Regulations, and organizational policies.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Enforce compliance with legal and internal safety regulations.
• Stay updated with WSHE laws and regulations.
• Develop and conduct regular in-house safety training programs and promotional activities.
• Support WSHEO/ECO in evaluating workers' safety competency levels.
• Assist in preparation of audit documentation and evidence.
• Collaborate with WSHEO/ECO to meet safety objectives.
• Perform other WSHE-related duties as assigned by your superior.
