Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION (SOUTH PACIFIC) DEVELOPMENT CO. PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified WSH Officer to uphold safety standards at construction sites in Singapore.

You will implement and enforce safety measures in line with MOM requirements and company policies. The role requires at least 3 years of relevant construction experience, with focus on occupational safety management including fire and safety. Building project experience (e.g., HDB) is advantageous, and candidates should maintain accurate

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management).
• Experience in HDB/Building will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety measures per Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Enforce safety requirements and company safety rules.
• Conduct regular site checks and take corrective actions.
• Inspect ECM and environmental plans to ensure compliance.
• Maintain WSH records, certificates and reports as required.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrences.
• Keep records related to safety training, incidents and inspections.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and seek safety improvements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
• Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place
• Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
• Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine the root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain accurate records related to safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Stay current on industry best practices and continuously seek opportunities to improve workplace safety.

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Occupational Safety Management(including fire & safety management)
• Experience in HDB/Building will be advantageous.
