Job summary

China Construction(South Pacific) Development Company Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a MOM-registered WSH Officer to lead safety compliance on active construction sites.

You will implement safety measures, enforce company rules, perform site inspections, and maintain WSH records. Qualifications

• Must be MOM-registered as WSH Officer.
• At least 3 years of construction industry experience.
• Experience in safety management, including fire safety.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and multiple work fronts, including traffic management and public safety.
• Experience with HDB/Building is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Enforce safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations.

• Ensure ECM and environmental plans are in place and being followed.
• Maintain WSH records, certificates and reports.

• Maintain accurate safety training, incident, inspection, and compliance records.
• Stay current on industry best practices and seek opportunities to improve workplace safety.

Job description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
• Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place.
• Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine the root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Review and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Method Statements for all construction activities.
• Maintain accurate records related to safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Stay current on industry best practices and continuously seek opportunities to improve workplace safety.

REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management)
• Good experience in subcontractor and multi-work-front coordination, including traffic management and public safety within active construction environments.
• Experience in HDB / Building will be advantageous.
