Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to uphold Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and environmental regulations on our construction sites in Singapore.

You will monitor daily safety practices, conduct mass toolbox meetings, inspect site conditions, and work with the WSH Officer to close out reports, investigations, and safety records, ensuring compliance with MOM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Possess an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
• Experience in HDB BTO will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with WSH, Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings and assist in incident investigations.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are completed and document mass toolbox meetings weekly.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and reports.
• Compile and maintain safety records and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures are implemented per MOM regulations.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ensure all operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Control regulations, as well as relevant statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings raised by the Safety Committee and support the WSH Officer in closing out reports, including assistance in incident and accident investigations.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are properly completed and documented, and conduct mass toolbox meetings on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate with relevant site personnel to continuously improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers strictly adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist the WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety-related reports, including the tracking of safety issues.
• Compile and maintain all relevant safety records and reports, and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures and procedures are implemented in accordance with MOM regulations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
