Job summary

L E Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible WSH Coordinator/WSH Officer to uphold Singapore's safety standards across projects. You will ensure compliance with WSH regulations, prepare RA/SWP/Method Statements, conduct toolbox talks, and support project teams in maintaining a safe, productive worksite.

Ideal candidates hold a WSH Certificate (Level B), relevant risk management certifications, and a Diploma or higher.

Qualifications

• WSH Certificate (Level B) is required.
• BCSS or Risk Management certification is preferred.
• Diploma or higher qualification from a recognized polytechnic or institution.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Able to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, project personnel and management.
• Proactive, responsible, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel between project sites when required.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence with own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project personnel to conduct Site Safety Induction prior to project commencement.
• Prepare, review and submit Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Method Statements.
• Keep abreast of MOM, WSH, NEA, SCDF regulations and ensure teams are updated.
• Conduct and document Toolbox Meetings / Safety Briefings across project sites.
• Carry out regular site safety and dormitory inspections and follow up on safety issues.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, and submit iReport where required.
• Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on WSH-related matters, inspections and queries.
• Monitor the upkeep, cleanliness and safety of workers' dormitories.
• Maintain LM certification records and ensure timely renewals.
• Review ISO 45001:2018 documentation and records for audits.

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and proactive WSH Coordinator / WSH Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining high workplace safety standards across our projects, ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations and supporting our project teams in creating a safe and productive working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with project personnel to conduct Site Safety Induction prior to project commencement
• Prepare, review and submit Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Method Statements
• Keep abreast of the latest requirements, regulations and legislation issued by MOM, WSH, NEA, SCDF and other relevant authorities, and ensure project teams are updated accordingly
• Conduct and document Toolbox Meetings / Safety Briefings across project sites
• Carry out regular site safety and dormitory inspections and follow up on identified safety issues and corrective actions
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, and submit iReport where required
• Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on WSH-related matters, inspections and queries
• Monitor and ensure the proper upkeep, cleanliness and safety standards of workers' dormitories
• Monitor and maintain records on the validity of machinery / equipment LM certifications and ensure timely renewal
• Maintain, update and review ISO 45001:2018 documentation and records for internal and external audits

About you

• Possess a recognized WSH Certificate (Level B)
• BCSS / Risk Management Certificate or equivalent
• Diploma or higher qualification from a recognized Polytechnic / Institution
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and workplace safety requirements
• Able to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, project personnel and management
• Proactive, responsible, independent and able to work well under pressure
• Willing to travel between project sites when required
