Job summary

Progressive Builders Pte Ltd seeks a dedicated Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of WSH management systems across our construction projects in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with MOM regulations, oversee ISO 45001 audits, conduct risk assessments, and drive a strong safety culture through training and proactive initiatives, while coordinating with clients, consultants and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety And Health Officer.
• 8–10 years’ experience as WSHO in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continual improvement of WSH management systems.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health /Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety And Health.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety And Health Officer.
• Minimum 8-10' experience as Workplace Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry.
• Experienced in HIP / HDB BTO projects.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.
• Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.
• Strong experience in ISO standards (e.g. ISO 45001) and audit management.
• Proven leadership experience managing site safety teams.
• Excellent knowledge of local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
