Job summary

JurongHealth Campus is seeking a Ward Service Associate to support daily ward operations and deliver exceptional patient care. You will work with the ward supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth service, manage ward stock, and help schedule WSAs across wards.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a bachelor’s degree and a strong service mindset are preferred. You will contribute to quality improvements and nursing-related projects in a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Ward Service Associate (WSA) team to uphold high service standards and deliver excellent patient care.
• Collaborate closely with the ward supervisor and team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.
• Assist in managing and maintaining adequate ward stock and supplies to support efficient ward operations.
• Oversee the deployment and scheduling of Ward Service Associates (WSAs) within the wards.
• Supervise WSAs to ensure patients’ nutritional and dietary needs are met according to established guidelines.
• Receive guidance and direction from the supervising officer/department head/operations lead to support operational and service excellence.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Serve as a project manager or equivalent to oversee and drive nursing-related projects from planning to implementation.
• Participate in and support nursing-related events, including planning, coordination, execution, and post-event activities.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required to support operational needs.

Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; fresh graduates are welcome and preferred.
• Strong service mindset with excellent service skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Self ‑ motivated, independent, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast ‑ paced environment.
• Hands ‑ on and solution ‑ oriented, with strong problem ‑ solving abilities and effective leadership potential to guide and support a team.
• A cooperative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to build positive working relationships with the Nursing team and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
