Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking an assistant to the WSH Officer in Singapore to help administer and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system, ensuring compliance with MOM rules and ISO/OHSAS standards.

The role involves conducting risk assessments for in-house and project sites, investigating accidents, and promoting safety training and campaigns to reinforce a culture of safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing workplace safety and health management systems.
• Knowledge of MOM safety regulations and ISO/OHSAS standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments for in-house and project sites.
• Ability to investigate accidents and advise corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness through campaigns and training.
• Participate in safety committee inspections and meetings.
• Ensure site activities comply with MOM safety requirements.
• Follow up actions to ensure ISO/OHSAS compliance.
• Adapt to ad hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Investigate any workplace accidents and advise on remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
• Promote Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers by organizing campaigns and training.
• Participate in safety committee inspections and meetings.
• Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities comply with MOM safety requirements.
• Follow-up on actions to ensure ISO and OHSAS standards compliance.
• Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Min. A level / Diploma in engineering or relevant field
• Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health and/or other relevant certificates
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience
